I hope I remember that name correct. I was curious if anyone else on the FabNet has tried this stuff yet?

I recently tried it on a SS shower wall system and set on bacsplashes. I loved the fact that as long as the 1/4" sheets had no slight cup the stuff just stuck in place after pushing it in place and you just moved to the other sheet no bracing needed . I did however discover that this stuff takes a few extra muscles in the wrist to pump out of the tube. So I was mainly curious if it was suppose to be that thick and if so is there a stronger caulk gun to be used?

I have never heard of this product.  How about a link?  Sounds promising for shower panels.

Yeah me emeb a link. Now that is funny, but here is the info I have.

Check out www.High-tack.com
or who you get your axiom caulk from. Like Bruce Adheasive, federal Saw Tool etc. Also see the ad on page 43 of the September issue of Surface Magazine..

Yeah it seams to be very promising. I tich expensive compared to silicone, but no bracing and waiting next day yadda, yadda equals savings to me.

Reuben,

You need the Cox Extra Thrust single component applicator with an 18:1 mechanical advantage, part # 41004-XT. I have them in stock along with the High-Tack.

Is this the same Axiom as the silicone caulk? Or made by the same co?

"...the Cox Extra Thrust single component applicator..."

I can't believe that phrase has been up for more than six hours and no one has even made a joke.

Tom,

It is currently made in Europe, but will be made in the States about the 2nd quarter of 09. It is not silicone, it is a moisture cure rubber polymer.
