Formica Corporation is pleased to announce that Craig Francisco has joined the company as director of strategy and business development. In this position, Francisco will work directly with the executive team to identify growth opportunities for North American operations.
Francisco was previously chief operating officer at The L.E. Smith Company, a leading, full-service countertop manufacturer in Bryan, Ohio. He worked in the financial industry for 13 years prior to joining the building products industry.
“Formica is an iconic brand and pivotal player in the surfacing industry,” Francisco said. “I’ve watched the company really transform the laminate industry in recent years, and I look forward to joining the team and contributing to its future growth.”
Prior to moving to Cincinnati, Francisco was a school board member of St. Patrick’s Catholic School in Bryan, Ohio, and volunteered with the Williams County Humane Society. He attended Bowling Green State University and is enrolled in the Black Belt Lean Six Sigma class through Morestream University with an expected graduation date of 2013. Francisco has been married for 13 years and has two children.
