“The goal of this new website is to help fabricators sell used machinery,” comments Jim Eckberg, Park Industries Marketing Communications Manager. “This new website will help connect fabricators with other fabricators who are looking at selling or buying equipment. And, best of all, it’s a free service.” Simply post an ad with a description and photo of the machine and the ad will be displayed on the website for 30 days. “We are committed to health and vitality of the industry which is why we are happy to provide this venue for fabricators,” concludes Eckberg.

Excuse my cynicsm, but Park isn't starting a free website because they're a bunch of nice guys, which they are. They probably have a boatload of potential new machinery buyers who can't purchase from them until they unload the stuff they have. Park makes website that facillitates sale, used machine sells, customer buys new replacement/upgrade from Park. Simple.
