it looks like too much math for me, I couldnt picture me trying to break that down and explain that to a potential customer. especially with all the references...too bad there isnt a powerful good one paragraph that says having an extra ingredient in your countertop that you didnt pay for makes it an upgrade and when selling your house, you can get more money for it when you tell them there is safe radon in it...

I still think its better to tell people to have it tested before they buy it if they are worried...printing this article and handing it out to Potentials , just not so sure about ...who knows?

The Marble Institute of America got their money's worth out of this scientific study that doubles as a sales brochure. The only thing missing is a coupon for new granite counter.

It reminds me of a presentation that I attended in the early 80s, about nuclear power. The guy giving it claimed to be an unbiased journalist who was only interested in reporting the facts. He then gave a slideshow that alleged all sorts of conspiracy theories about the nuclear industry. As a college student who opposed nuclear energy at the time, I recall thinking "I wish this guy wasn't on my side, because he looks like a hack."

I suspect that very little, if any, granite is so hot that it actually creates a radon problem in a home. And I wish this paper wasn't on "my side".

I thought the paper was a little too much information, but I want to make sure the fabricators have the opportunity to see what is out there being published.
