well it looks like they are also calling Quartz a "Solid Surface" as well...so If someone calls me about being interested in Solid Surface from a Popular mechanics article....I will give them a 10 buck discount as long as they pay 200 a sq..I''l also do an inlay of Dale earnhart with leftover sockets from their mechanix tool chest for no extra chrge...

I posted a comment also. I am a soapstone fabricator and it never ceases to drive me nuts when the "experts" talk about things they know nothing about. Soapstone is non-porous contrary to what they printed. It will not stain and the oil is only used to darken and patina the stone.
